Mid century appliances shown on Amazon series “THEM”

Chris Your right Series suppose to be set in is 1954? I noticed a set of turquoise Maytag’s in one episode? I don’t think Maytag had those colors or that model machine til later in the decade? They don’t have it historically perfect! Still I gotta appreciate the effort they made, especially...

Mid century appliances shown on Amazon series “THEM”

Been watching “Them” on Amazon. It’s very well done and the plot is frightening/disturbing. For those here that are interested.. especially mid century modern kitchens of the time, check out “THEM” The cars are what initially caught my attention, then got hooked on the plot.

    Successful white load yesterday

Dear, thank you for researching this Sound like OxyClean is pretty stingy with the Pure sodium Per Carbonate in their mix! I guess pure SPC could be ordered on line..then with a digital scale, work out a 80/20 spilt with pure SPC and washing soda..pre mix in air tight container. Or maybe...

    Successful white load yesterday

IMHO The soak can be very beneficial depending on soil level and fabrics being treated. Even a 30min soak can help loosen oil and dirt and allows you to shorten the agitation time. IIRC powdered Tide with bleach and regular powdered Tide contain close to the same amount of sodium...

    Whirlpool Transmissions Oil Question

You probably made a good choice As you noticed the “gears on the 64 had little ware” The reason..may have been that they’d been in gear oil.

    Successful white load yesterday

Tide with bleach Contains sodium per carbonate. The hot water and soaking gave the SPC in the Tide plenty of time to do all it’s bleaching action, without harming fabrics. You spun that out, and washed using LCB and a short wash. If any persistent stains were left, the LCB got em! Contact...

Cleaning skin oil stains on pillow cases

Well Since it just on the pillow cases. How about a overnight soak in the kitchen sink with a little powdered tide and a little ammonia! Wring out by hand the next AM and rewash normally in machine with the rest of the sheets?

Cleaning skin oil stains on pillow cases

Hi John Curious .. Do you have a TL or FL machine? If you have a top loader, a good old fashioned overnight soaking may help too..especially since the sheets have been sitting with oil residue in them. HTH

Hi Matt So the technician tried a new timer, then decided that it needed a new transmission instead? Is the same technician installing new transmission when it comes in?

    "The Laundry Guy"

I’m not hating on the dude I just question the chemistry. Why only 1 TBLS of soap? Heres a box of Chipso soap than indicates using by the cupfull!

    Laundry Soap at Target

Hi Stephanie The words “soap” and “detergent” often get used interchangeably, but they really are two different things. Laundry detergent is safe for your top loader. What’s “perfect” with your machine depends on it’s functions, as well as your water conditions and water temperatures used...

    "The Laundry Guy"

1Tbls of soap! For a full load?? I guess there not much chance for the soap to react to hard water minerals... cuz you ain’t putting enough in the load to anything! He said he didn’t like OxyClean cuz it had Borax in it. Since when? It has washing soda, not borax.

Kenmore 80 Series (Year 2000) Neutral Drain Delicate

Matt Thats good that a tech is coming from the place you bought it from ! I have replaced the neutral drain on my 80 series a couple of years back. What’s a little confusing to me, is that yours dose it’s neutral drain on regular and heavy. But not when set to delicate? The first thing I...
