    What happened in this dryer????

The Whirlpool with the stationary back have been in production since the late 60's. That's like 40 years. I don't see anything wrong with that design. The hot air comes in the drum on the side where the clothes have already started to tumble down, and the lint is removed where the clothes are...

Good Dryers? plus reversible door question

My Whirlpool side swing door is reversible. I have it on the left side of the washer, and I reversed the door the day I got it.

    ...a Disturbia load...

I don't want to sound like a prissy person, but you got to clean that stove and the door next to the dishwasher. Even the sides of the door opening of the dishwasher need some cleaning. Otherwise, nice load. But the pics are somewhat ruined by the surroundings.

    What happened in this dryer????

The screen where the hot air enters the dryer is also scorched. I think it's been abused too. My full size Whirlpool has been running for 10 years, and that screen is still shiny.

    What happened in this dryer????

This is the inside of a portable Whirlpool dryer, for sale on the web, in Texas. What happened in there? I never saw such damage in a dryer. And who in their right mind would buy a dryer like that. Or even think of putting their clothes in there. What do think? Serge

    Found a Hotpoint "Rim Flo"

We had one of these, but with a side opening lid, and the agitator was slightly curved straight vane type. The hand wash agitator did not do much, if the water level was high. And that washer made such a loud clunk, when the spinning cycle was over. Lots of suds too. very hard to rinse it all...

First time something was shredded in my Shredmore.

It seems like a delicate blanket! I wouldn't blame the washer.

Pink KDI 15 with bottom timer

Beautiful, although I hate the color pink usually. the upper rack seems so deep on each side. How tall a glass can you fit there? Who needs a tall tub?

    who made the worst dryer

that's the type I am talking about. Ours was harvest Gold. So ugly to look at. I can't stand them.

    who made the worst dryer

The worst dryer I had to use was a Hotpoint from the late 70's, early 80's. The type made by GE, the front top half of the cabinet is the whole door. Quite ugly styling if you ask me. The thermostat was wrong from the day we got it. It took more than an hour to dry a full load of towels. If not...

Videos of my new GE Hydrowave with Infusor!!!

If you put a very dirty towel or t-shirt, and it sits on top, like in the towel load video, I am sure it will not come clean. I can do a better wash action in the sink, with my hands. It's totally ridiculous. And I am sure that a lot of people who will buy these machines have no idea how it...

Videos of my new GE Hydrowave with Infusor!!!

Sorry, but it looks pathetic. All that space in a big tub, and everything is at the bottom being swooshed around in a few cups of water. I am not impressed. Sorry.

Bigger capacity: Maytag or Whirlpool from the late 70's

and the HOH Maytag dryer would be smaller than the Whirlpool dryer. correct?

Bigger capacity: Maytag or Whirlpool from the late 70's

I think the stacked unit that Whirlpool used to make (full size Top loader, and full size dryer on top) was quoted at 2.45 cubic foot if I remember well) and that tub looked about the same size as washers from the 70's. The Maytag stacked units looked smaller.
