Wow! I love the looks, sounds, etc. of spanish washers! They are so weird and so cool! How does that machine spin?

My old washer was the smae one but had a white basket, softener dispenser, 4 position water level control, Permanent Press II and a "Handwash Plus Fine Delicates" speed setting.

I've seen those sets at Lowe's and Best Buy. They are really cool!

Nice agitation sound. Reminds me of the sound my Kenmore Oasis makes when it agitates.

No pictures handy but mine is a 2007 Kenmore Oasis Agi model with solid lid and Total Care Flex agitator.

My Kenmore Oasis Agi version hasn't given us any problems since we purchased it in May 2007.

Yes, it is the Maytag-Branded version of the Wgirlpool Cabrio and the Kenmore Oasis. Type in "Kenmore Oasis" at YouTube. You will see several videos posted by user(and fellow AW.org member) jonv112.

I'd go for a Samsung VRT Front-Loader. If you don't know, VRT stands for Vibration Reduction Technology.

I don't know. The machine, being a front-loader does not need much wter and soap to clean. The cleaning action, I think, is done by the laundry being smacked against the tub mostly.

Really is American market switching on to TLHA!??!!? Well, I heard that in 2012, every company is to stop making Agitator Top-Loaders. Then, the only machines will be non-agitator Top-Loaders like the Kenmore Oasis HE, Front-Loaders like the Whirlpool Duet and yes, TLHA machines like the Staber.
