hello everyone for those members that love turq appliance it seems that electrolux are making washers and dryers in this color lets hope other brands like fridgedair whirlpool ge maytag follows the color vague.

Teal

The color of the Electrolux models does not come anywhere near the turquoise FRIGIDAIRE,GE,Maytag or Whirlpool/Kenmore shades from the 50's through the 60's.It's more of a teal green.However,if Electrolux was to incorporate this teal color with their full line,it would look more in tune with todays newer kitchens,bathrooms and laundry areas.I heard they're making a newer shade of red available as well. I have yet to see that color in person.

Electrolux must be a sponsor of "Ugly Betty" they advertise every commercial break, They show the same color as the one above.

I think it's Kelly Ripa who's been modeling the new Elux teal washer/dryer set.
