Those guards do serve a purpose. Unless you immediately clean the filter BEFORE you take them out of the dryer, pulling clothes across that area will attract the lint. Sad they are cheaping out. Especially since the price has doubled.

My front load Speed Queen (2 years old) is dead. Will not power up. Nothing on “resetting it” in the owners manual. Plugging and unplugging does nothing. Digital controls. Any suggestions? Everyone is closed till after Christmas.

Put the front skirt back on. It's part of the body integrity. Mine shook till I put that back on all snug.

Agree with you MIke. Completely. What matters was at the end of the day the towels were dry, spun dry, and rinsed well (without having to do 7 rinses). The machine did what it could with a very large and heavy load. By the way, in the sheets video, I added the "2nd Rinse" option for those...

Here are 4 queen sheets, 9 pillow cases, and a pair of running shorts. :) The load was a bit off balanced, so I gave it a spin only cycle. I'll do a video of other clothes once I have some. Spin Only Cycle
