Looks great! Very cool. My parents had a built in top loader in the house we lived in till I was 5. I have some slight memories of it. My mother did tell me later that the dial had to be replaced a couple of times because it melted slightly and warped. It was fairly new too, they built the house...

Frigidaire cyclamatic Hi, saw your post while I was looking for other info. I have one about the same age, 1953 or 1954. The freezer compartment is Anodized aluminum I think. Not sure if there is a good way to paint that.

Thank you so much for the picture! That looks very close to what I remember. My mom had that dryer till 1974 when she got a new set of Brown Whirlpools. She had those till she passed away in 2003. I kinda wish now that I had kept them, but didn't have room at the time.

I went to an estate sale last weekend at a house that was built about 1963. The only thing really interesting was the dishwasher. It looked to be original to the house, and seemed to be in excellant condition inside and out. I ask about it and they said it wasn't for sale. The new home owner is...

Hi guys, haven't been on here for awhile. To busy at work and at home. I managed to go to a couple of estate sales today and found a kds 21, and a kdd 66. Both were in good condition and seemed to work. I bought the 21 and wondered if I should go back and get the 66? Don't need a portable, but...

The Green appliances are Kenmore circa 1969/70, the gas stove and oven are Gaffers and Satler. Still need a dishwasher for the front kitchen, that may take awhile.....lol. Yeah, we love the turquoise too... we used it at thanksgiving and it worked great.
