1950's Roper Gas Dryer

Hi guys, I have a question. Does anyone have a 50's era Roper dryer or a picture of one. I was thinking about the one my mom had when I was growing up. Especially the fact that she wouldn't let my older brothers use it or let me near it...lol. She'd always say "if you slam the door the pilot light will go out" And, I remember that caused her to be very,very irritated...lol. I guess because relighting it involved a LONG metal rod with a match on the end that had to be put thru a door by the control panel all the way down the back to the bottom. Just a funny random memory of mine, and thought I'd love to see a picure of one.

Roper dryer!

I got this picture a long time ago - definitely 50's does anyone know how long it was made - I would love to see specks if anyone has. Would be a great find.

Thank you so much for the picture! That looks very close to what I remember. My mom had that dryer till 1974 when she got a new set of Brown Whirlpools. She had those till she passed away in 2003. I kinda wish now that I had kept them, but didn't have room at the time.

My grandmother had that exact range, or very close to it.
