    Avanti 12lb Capacity Portable Washer

I just purchased this washer as a second washer and because of its multiple rinses feature. Overall, I like the washer but I wish the spinning rpms was faster than 700rpms. It would be nice if it was 900rpms or faster for more water removal. I plan to record and post videos of the wash and...

your opinion about maytag bravo or whirpool cabrio

I had the Oasis (Sears version) I had the Sear's version and this washing was a complete and utter mess. It didn't clean well and my control board arrived with a defect. If you want some real opinions, go to www.epinions.com and www.sears.com. Read the reviews of real owners who have or have...

New Alliance/Speed Queen Washers & Dryers

Johnb300m..... I had a friend that worked at a laundromat. At first his employer used the GE Filter Flo coin-op washers. After they kept breaking down, the owner switched to Speed Queen. He told me that Speed Queen broked down far less that the GE's did. Also, he told me that customers would...

New Alliance/Speed Queen Washers & Dryers

Irishwashguy..... The top spin speed is 710rpms, and it takes about 45 mins to dry a heavy load of clothes. I set my timer on less dry and high heat, and a load of jeans if completely dry around 45 mins. The Speed Queen dryers get hot.

New Alliance/Speed Queen Washers & Dryers

I Purchased Two Pairs.... I purchased two sets of Speed Queen washers/dryers. I lost the first set due to a divorce. I purchased another set (models AWS52/AES68)and I, absolutely, love them. I wouldn't replace them with anything that is being sold in today's market. The washer performs very...

Changing Agitators In Speed Queen Washer

Mark, Thanks for your response. I had, already, found out that information from a service tech. There's nothing wrong with the agitator that's already in my Speed Queen. I just wanted to change it. Thanks again.

Changing Agitators In Speed Queen Washer

Hi Everyone, I retrieved the agitator (dual-action) from the old Maytag SAV model washer I gave to a friend a while ago. I would like to put it in my Speed Queen washer because it looks so cool. The problem is the Speed Queen agitator has plastic nubs at the bottom that attaches it to a drive...

I Have One In My Storage Closet Mike, I have one that I barely use. It's stored in my storage closet. It's a great machine. Washes great and spins fantastic. Also, the spinning rpms is 1600.

    Whirlpool DDs

Speed Queen Perhaps????? I have a Speed Queen washer/dryer and I love them. It has stainless-steel tub and a metal outer tub. Also, it has a metal transmission and a long-stroke agitation unlike the Whirlpool-made washers. I can't recommend them enough.

    More Water Please!!!

IMO, nothing beats an old fashioned toploader to get those clothes clean and smelling fresh. Clothes get to swim in enough water and leave all the dirt and pet hair behind.

    Samsung Washer

Gansky1, Launderess, Whirlcool, and Panthera Thanks for taking the time to answer pturo's question. It's refreshing to see folks take the time to answer a question instead of posting a useless, sarcastic statement. I was curious about this machine myself.

    Speed Queen Washer Question

Answer For Mrsalvo... The rinse cycle last about 2 minutes. Not very long but very effective. The TOL models have the Extra Rinse Option. I have model ASW52 which has the Extra Rinse option. I love my machine.

    CR Washer Tests January 2007!

I Have To Agree.... Gansky1, I have to agree with you. A couple of years back, CR stated the Maytag (model SAV4655AWW) was a good buy and I went out and purchased it. That washer didn't last but 2 years. The Kenmore washer and dryer I gave my mom is still kicking strong after 5 years. I will...

Speed Queen Washing Jeans & Spin Draining

Question????? Easyspindrier, How did you get your washer to operate without pressing the lidswitch? I have the ASW52 model and I have to press the lid switch up in order to get it to operate. As for my tub indexing, I just washed a full load of jeans and there was no indexing at all. Maybe...

    Speed Queen In Action

Speed Queen Indexing My Speed Queen washer does not index unless there isn't enough water. I can wash a full load of jeans (size 38) and my tub still does not index.

    How's this for a BobLoad®?

Question???? Austin, Why do you use the Permanent Press cycle for jeans? I know the BD Kenmores spin at about 525rpms on the Regular cycle which is slow going by today's standards. Just curious.

Wasting water, one load at a time

Sorry I Don't Have Any Pics Jasonl, I am sorry but I don't. My mom purchased that washer when I was in middle school. I hated it. At that time, I wanted her to buy a Hoover twin tub washer but she wouldn't. I didn't understand why when I did all the washing. The Kelvinator washer rolled to...
