This will be hard to explain, but when you set the temp dial to DELICATE then use the auto dry feature under AUTOMATIC REGULAR / DELICATE, i usually select the LESS DRY it will run for hours and never advance. If you do not have cloths in it, then it will advance and shut off just fine...
