    Miele Washer & Dryer

Rinsing in new machines Talking about water consumtion: It's not as good as it sounds. 47 Liters aren't enugh. Our Consumer report rated a Miele 1.8, that's nearly a B! If I pay 1800 Bugs, I'd like to have the best rinsing performance. The spin cycles between the wash and rinse cycles are just...

    Gas heated Washer

Hi guys, I often heard, that some of you want to buy a euro washer. But a cycle takes to long because of the small 115 V internal Heater. So I ask myself, why european manufacturers don't offer a Gas Heated washer! What do you think, would that make your decission easier?

There must have been an urgent need for fridges in post war time. But I also saw that they already sold their products in the early twenties.

TL or FL? The Answer In European washing-machine !!!

TL washer Thank's for informations! I think I shoult try to get a English washer with internal heater, they run on 230 V too. It's Interesting I can't see any reason for the success of FL washer in Europe. The first ones were constructa and V Zug in Europe. But I cant remember a single...

    New GE Front Loader!

Internal heater! Hi Folks! I can't understand, why European washing machine manufacturers don't build in internal heaters powerd with gas? You could easily use the gas supply for the Dryer an run both on gas! miele would sell much more machines in the us! In our loundry room we have a three...

How can I get a V-ZUG Adora SLX washer?

Miele is better! Indeed, miele is better! I once saw that our machines can run on 50 or 60hz Cycle, because theyre sold all over Europe! We have different cycle frequences here. Have you ever thought about using a generator to produce 220 Volt?

TL or FL? The Answer In European washing-machine !!!

TL or FL? Merry Christmas (or happy Hollidays?) I think, there is no difference between an H- Axis FL or TL! it just because TL dont need as much space as an FL. American washers, in my opinion, cant clean clothes as gentle as Euro machines. And the water consumption is higher. But at least...

Who Said Laundromats Don't Have Bock Extractors?

Twin Tub In Germany we had those twintubs. An H Axis fullautomatic washer, without spincycle. Besides there was a highspeed vertical axis spinner. http://www.waschmaschinen-forum.de/museum/scharpf/scharpf.html

are your washers modelled on american cars?

Hi folks! After a few weeks of strolling down the american washer Highway, I remarked that there seems to be no difference between the design of the washers and the cars in every decade. In the fourtys the nice, elegant Raymond Loewy design, in the mid fifties oppulent and overchromed dashboards...

Thanx for informations! Hi guys! I already cant imagine how this drum works! I was searching for a picture of it, but didn't find any! could anybody draw a simple sketch of it? But after all its very clever to use a single transmission instead of three motors. Why miele doesn't use such a...

    50s Bendix in Melbourne

three speed Transmission I'm wondering how costly your front loaded washers were build! I can't remember any German front load washer with a transmission. Wash and spin action are allways caused by reversing and changing the motor speed. only early semi automatics had a transission, but only to...
