Sounds like the same problem with my first Thor. Dissemble, open up transmission, clean, replace with new oil.

If it's not stuck in the machine, remove the basket and the balancer ring. It will make transport much easier. Keep me posted!

Picked up one of these several years ago at Brimfield Antique Show. What a great little machine. It is surprising how much you can actually fit in there. Mine did not have the owner's manual with it. Hint. Hint. Perhaps you could post a copy of it or scan one and email it to me! RON

Mine was doing the same thing, then after sitting for a while, it stopped pumping.  During a very boring day during COVID lockdown,  I decided to take it apart.  Now I wish I had left it alone.  Maybe between the two of us, we can fix both our machines.     Ron

Okay, so she went with Plan B.  She bought an Asko stack set.  Lots of money but she was very impressed with the quality.  

John, I did remove the front panel. My first thought was one of the suspension springs. But that looks fine to me. Is my theory about damaging the motor and thus causing it not to be able to ramp up enough to balance the load legitimate? I'm not the expert. You are. RON
