Yes I have one of the old ones with a lighted base. Nice to use on a bare wood floor but I don't think the lighted base was meant to be used on carpeting which may be why that style fell out of favor.

Does that motor say Maytag on it anywhere? It doesn't look like a motor that would have come with that washer. Maybe they gave you one that was just lying around. Does it have a bracket to mount it onto the washer?
