Hot gas valve and timer test? I'm trying to figure out how to test if the new hot gas valve and timer are working. Does anyone know how to test these devices?

New compressor installed. What color wires connects to the hot gas valve? and how do I check if the defrost control is working?

Thanks circle. I was just going by a rubber stamp I found on the back 66. Probably referred to something else. Still trying to figure out a fix for the hot gas solenoid.

Hello I'm restoring a 1966 GE Frost Guard Refrigerator. I have replaced the compressor, but need to find a replacement for the Hot Gas Solenoid coil/valve. I could not find a part number. Any one know what would work, and where to find one? Thanks
