That avocado RCA whirlpool range was no newer than 67 because they took the RCA logo off in 68, and yes, it is definitely a roper built range. It’s a very rare thing to see with the whirlpool name on it, it was there mainly so whirlpool could have a self cleaning range

It’s too bad they won’t go back to building ovens without windows, and these original self cleaning ovens were so well insulated. They’re far more energy efficient than any similar size range built today.
In the 70s, the Appliance manufacturers argued out of any regulations on energy usage by gas and electric ranges because they argued that there really wasn’t any difference, then they set about building gas and electric ovens over the last 30+ years that were more and more inefficient. today we have probably the lowest efficiency ovens ever sold in the world.
