Wow they do look like 1-18's but if you look closely...they are WCI machines in disguise. The give away was the lid on the washer...on the right side where the lid opens there is that trench the whole width of the lid and the F is in the center of the logo blocks. If it was a true 1-18 the logo blocks would be F_GM. I hope that sounds right. I know on my 1-18 its like that. I could be wrong with these 2.

The Dryer, too.
GM Frigidaire 1-18 dryers had a full width & heighth door. The photo shows the outline of the door about an inch below the top piece of the dryer.

Lots of basements in the Northwest!
The coffee color is pretty cool on these - even if they are WCI. The thing I noticed first was the dryer door handle - just screams "Gibson Girl" from the same era.

Those washers were well known for leaking grease. Nice set, though.

No Basements
Here in California a basement is very rare, as are the washers. I feel very lucky to have found anything at all. I could have a huge collection if I had the space and about a million dollars for shipping from the East.
But, they do appear occassionally, and you have to pounce upon them.
