I have never personally seen one of these machines. The appearance of the cleaning tube looks to be kind of like Frigidaire with the spray tube. This model looks like a wide one, sort of like the GE machines they made some of back in the 50's. I'm sure John L. could probably enlighten us about these dishwashers. Ah, this is one of my 'dream machines'!  We had a neighbour in Pointe-Claire where I grew up who had a Youngstown electric sink with one of these 30-inch dishwashers and Youngstown disposer - both were out of service in 1971 when we moved to that area though.   There were rumours that the house we did move to once had the 30-inch Youngstown dishwasher; it was gone when we moved in and there was a honking big gap in our cupboards...  

 

I saw one at a church bazaar in 1989, just after I bought my first house,  but I passed on it because I couldn't load it into my Mazda 323....  Sigh... 

 

From what I have heard, these were poor dishwashers.  The neighbour who did have one said hers was awful and she was almost glad when it broke down (she bought a Maytag top-load portable dishwasher to replace it).
