Wow, hard to think that 10yrs has flown, thanks to Jeff and Robert and everyone else who has contributed on the startup of both clubs....Hey Steve - yes what a great group of Alley Cats...I made a split second decision to come and join the 2001 convention, 3 weeks later got on a plane to Minni, much to the shock of friends & family and have never looked back...!!!

Funny to think I only had a Kirby Tradition then ...the rest is history!!!

Thanks for getting/keeping this site up and going. Though I seldom post, I read the posts and drool over the pic of the day every day. If, for some reason, I miss a day, I feel lost.

But also a small correction. The linked Yahoo Group wasn't the first group that you started Jeff. It's actually the second. The group that you linked used to be part of Yahoo Clubs, at that time Yahoo Clubs was more popular than Yahoo Groups and had more options. But Yahoo wanted to get rid of the Clubs, it took way too much space I think so the clubs were changed into Yahoo Groups as well. The original Yahoo Group disappeared a while after that change. IIRC you told me that I was the second member of that first Yahoo Group. The first group was founded by you several months or perhaps a year before this group.

Enough of my ramblings, it's still a great anniversary! Congratulations all!

Wow, a decade, already. I think I discovered the site around 2001/2002, but I don't remember the old site. I must have come into it right after the revamp.

AW is certainly my favorite website, even though I don't restore old appliances...or even own any vintage machines.
