My favorites are the Back Up, the Hawaii chair for the office, Aspray ( you have to watch that one!), the Ayds appetite suppressant, and of course the Comfort Wipe. And don't forget the Facial Flex!

I remember "Ayds" well-many magazines in the 70s contained advertising/testimonials for this. I had no idea it contained those chemicals, however. I was pretty sure it was no longer on the market, but I had no idea people associated it in their minds with that. I never even thought of it.

I fell off my chair laughing my ass off when I saw the infomercial for Aspray. OMG! I loved the "special effects", especially the one with the plumber!

Does anyone here really think this product is needed?

I once had a roommate in college that would clear the room out whenever he took off his shoes, even though he showered every morning. Some people would even scream at him "Ahhh! Let me escape before you take those off!" He used to joke that he'd kill odor eaters within the first 5 minutes of wearing them!

Ah, people with foot odor have to follow the rule of three-

Have at least three pair of "daily driver" shoes. Wear for one day and let dry for two.

"They" say it helps. And if that don't help, Lysol the s**t out of them.

Oh, I remember Ayds

This was a diet aid in the 70s that was packaged like a box of chocolate. My mom and her friends would eat this stuff daily. Then 1980-81 comes along with a health scare called AIDS. Talk about a marketing nightmare.
