1918 Thor(?) wringer washer for sale in North Hollywood, CA

I bought another machine from this man today (I will post it in a couple days), he also has this very early wringer for sale.

He said it's the first (brand) of machine to have an electric motor.

He's retiring and will be closing the doors to his business in 2 weeks. This one and the machine I bought have been on display in his showroom.

This wringer washer is NOT a Thor

As the tag in the last pic says it is a Conlon. Thor's were made by the Hurley Machine Co. The gentleman is right in stating the Thor was the first electric washer made in the US though. Hurley Machine Co. introduced the model in 1906.....PAT COFFEY

I think 1918 is too early for an agitator. Nice machine, but I don't believe it's quite that old.
