I wouldn't have paid that much for it, but it's all original and has shelves too. These beasts are ridiculously heavy and difficult to move, which would be another deterrent for me. I moved mine twice, and that was enough. I wouldn't be surprised if it's still in my friend's barn where I left it almost 30 years ago. He sold the place a couple of years later.
I can't see what the starting price was for the subject fridge, but have seen later model single door MT's in lousy shape on ebay and CL with asking prices of $400+ so it's all relative, and the sale price could be considered a good deal by some.
