1930's General Electric Vacuum

Automatic Washer - The world's coolest Washing Machines, Dryers and Dishwashers

Help Support :

I had one just like it when I was living in a 1937 home that a family friend inherited back in 1984.  I figured it was original to the house, and had clearly been well cared for.  It needed a belt so I took it to a local vacuum shop and the guy there pegged it as the same fit as a Royal.  He was right, and I used that vacuum cleaner for a while, even after I moved out of the place.  A very handsome machine, and Rick, yours is the only other one like it that I've ever seen.

Thanks guys! It is a great antique vacuum. If it does not sell, I'll keep it. I have a Premier Duplex from about 1926, that was my grandmothers, that I use weekly. It is very similar to this GE. They are a fantastic vacuum cleaner. They are light in weight, very durable, and do a great job cleaning. What more could one ask?
