No price likely = high price, but it's a rare beauty and complete.

To Be Rep;laced....

....By a present-day piece of dreck, I'm sure.

That range is such a rare survival, and in such good shape, that you'd think anyone with three neurons still firing would leave it alone.

But NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO. Gotta have sump'n NEW.

These folks say they have a child who's coming of cooking age, and that that's why they're jettisoning this beauty. Why they're not performing the simple repairs and upgrades they recommend for a purchaser is beyond me.

Your so Right!

What a fantastic stove, and those shakers!!!!!! What is wrong with people,I know we all have different taste, which is a godsend, but its like a diamond,OHHH Welll!

Per the War and Peace ad copy, the only reason they're parting with the stove is because they have a child who is interested in cooking, and the oven and broiler don't have pilots.  They also state that the pilot(s) on the stove top aren't reliable on the back burners.

At this point, they need a stove/oven/broiler that lights when the gas is turned on.  This is understandable, and they clearly love this stove and want to make sure it finds another loving home.  It wouldn't surprise me if they hope to find something vintage but a decade or two newer for a replacement.
