1934 Magic Chef Stove

Hi Everyone,
Cowboy 4800 from Kansas City here, I am selling my aunts 1934 Magic Chef stove. She bought it second hand in 1936 It is a beauty and in perfect working order. www.antiqueappliances.com

well thats true but I'm thinking it should bring about $500 that makes them uncomparable as well and by fully restored they mean they replaced insulation , added safety valves if needed, lubricated gas valves. and rewired electrical system. This is a working stove, fully operational and in service for many many years

There is one in Omaha

There is one of these at the thrift store here in Omaha. I think they had $60 on it was in rough shape. was missing the light and the salt & pepper shelf. But it could be used for parts.
I remember reading that this stove is in a museum somewhere, it is noted for its modern design.

here is a pic of the one I replaced it with, a 1957 Roper Supermatic with griddle in middle, rotissrie, on left side, and thermostat controlled burner. Like everything else made in 1957, lotsa chromey goodness

What a wonderful stove! I had a buddy who had a 30's vintage 6-burner Magic Chef with short little legs. It was a very substantial stove, yet looked like it could be found dancing around in a Betty Boop cartoon. I really lusted after that one but had no place for it.

Can you just for the sake of my curiosity provide dimensions for your stove? It's really a nice one, especially for a smaller kitchen since it has the open bottom and would give a sense of not taking up so much space.
