I had one of those for a while back in the late 70's.  It stopped running a year or two after I got it.  I've steered clear of Frigidaires from this period ever since.

They're nice looking refrigerators for someone with the expertise to change out a compressor.

More than likely..

It IS something simple like the hot wire relay.."starting relay" or the thermostat, those Meter Misers lasted almost forever.

I love Mine

I have a 1930 Frigidaire, must be one of the first with a sealed unit in it.Its on legs and its my primary fridge for over 30 years now.Have not spent ten cents on it.Paid 75 bucks for it,in 81.I have a Ge Flat-top for a spare if I need another one.Havent turned it on for years.I also have an Americana I use for car club meetings when I need extra space. It runs about 5days a year.I have a soft spot in my heart for that little Frigidaire though, how faithful it has been!!!!!
