1939 Florence gas range

I have a 1939 Florence natural gas range my parents bought brand new when they married. They gave it to me in 1984 and I never did anything with it in all that time. It is in pretty good shape. It looks like the one in this E Bay description #290733534204 the one depicted to the left that says (New Gas Range). Would any one have any information about Florence ranges as this is the only one I have ever seen. Also it is missing some parts. A couple of knobs. A porcelain salt and pepper shaker made for the range specifically. and a frosted glass cover that covered a light bulb on the top of the range back splash. Any info or parts or a source for correct parts would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Bill,

Lots of Florence gas stoves around here growing up. They all had kerosene burners on the left with gas right and an oven in the middle that could slow cook while heating the kitchen or turn the gas on. Probably one of the first I ever saw with the broiler in the oven cavity. The thermostats were hidden like a Tappan and knob to light said Bake one way and Broil you had to light by hand. I'll post an old Florence soon

I never thought about this stove being common or popular in another part of the country due to where it was manufactured ( North east). So mabey someone around the New England states will have some parts to complete mine. Anybody out there? Let me know. Bill,

They were sold..

In the South along with Monarch ranges which also were made in the north..I saw several Florences as a kid.
