I just picked this up to go with my 1948 Servel fridge. It is in great shape. The model fridge came with the sale cards showing various ways of how to put food into the it. The next set of cards gave all the reasons why Servel was better than the rest.

That is too cool - I love stuff like this! Since they are easier to store than the full-sized version, you can have lots and lots of them from all different manufacturers. I have a few kitchen model sample kits from Hotpoint, Frigidaire, GE and am looking for a "reasonably" priced kit from Youngstown. Maytag had a similar planning kit for laundry & kitchen applliances, I have a couple of pieces but have never seen the whole kit.

gas appliances

the above reminds me...my house was built in 1924..there's a Tappan Blue Flame gas valve where the frid sits...I've always thought my house had a gas refrid. when it was built. I used to hear about natural gas A/C units..do they still make those..how does something that produces heat make cold?
