1950-1952 Hotpoint Dishwasher for sale

Early 1950's model Hotpoint dishwasher. I do not have any pictures of the back yet. It is still connected to the supply and drain.
This dishwasher does turn on. The water motor at the base spins when you turn the dial to on and stops when you rotate it all the way to off. It has not been tested with water. The water to the property has been shut off while we start renovating this home. The stacking racks are still inside and very clean surprisingly.

Washer is located in Beachwood, NJ if anyone is local and/or interested.

Takes me back to me being between age 6 & 8 years old--friends in Dallas had this exact dishwasher. Scent of Cascade come out of the vents at the top of the door while runing.

Funny how similar those racks are to the GE top loading dishwasher of the day.

Available to good home

I see no one is interested in purchasing this. Is there any one who can use it, sell it, or needs parts for it? It's free to a good home if you can come get it; Otherwise, I'm afraid it's going to the scrap yard soon. We're going to start the rehab project on the home soon and it will be in the way and I don't have the storage space for it.

I am unfortunately spending the rest of the winter in Australia... otherwise I would have been seriously interested in this! I've done the run from Ogden, QC into New Jersey more than once to save a machine.

I already have too much stuff I need to move on, but I hate
seeing something tossed if is saveable and can be saved.

All of my appliances are hotpoint from the 50s in my kitchen except my dishwasher!! I wish I was in newjersey!! The closest I can get is minnesota. I drive through minnesota each year to reach my cabin. Sadly I can't be further from you. I'm in western Washington.

Don't scrap it! I wonder how much it would cost to ship? Could it be strapped to a pallet?

I'm sure it can be shipped Freight but I have no idea the cost. I avoid freight shipping. That's why I have this larger stuff posted on sites like this for Local pick-up. I'm not really sure what services to use for freight (especially cross country) or where to start with pricing it out.

For large (and often heavy) major appliances will be dear.

At lower end of scale would be someone from UShip and even then offers from that service haven't been cheap lately.

Services such as Craters & Freighters, Microship and similar that collect, crate and ship items will be very dear for something like this dishwasher.

There is always UPS and other freight carriers but again costs to shift item won't be cheap *and* one needs to crate/pack-up item then get it to shipper. UPS may collect freight shipments, but not sure. It likely won't be for free.

Ever increasing costs of petrol nowadays has made shipping anything rather dear. This even for small items that can go via UPS, FedEx, USPS or other package delivery services.

In situations like this it's often better for someone local goes after item. This or someone is willing to drive or otherwise travel whatever distance to fetch item.
