Very Cool!
Did this kitchen have 5 units?
What are you plans with the units.
Would love to know more about how they actually work....
Is there one compressor that feeds all of the "units".
Very Interesting Find!

Hey Brent,  I  posted these from the local craigslist.  The link included in #655204 shows the 1956 literature and some beautiful mid-century kitchens. arthur

Novel to have 3 or 5 refrigerated 'cabinets'. But if each has its own compressor, the efficiency loss of each is multiplied by 3 or 5 for the array.

So yeah it's novelty-convenient in an age of 5c/kWh electricity. Today, it's extravagant.

One of my friends here has the fridge and freezer in his kitchen in stainless.
All of the kitchen appliances are original to the house. It's a 1959 MCM house
and he and his partner are the second owners. All the floors are terrazzo,
including the bathtub/shower in the main bath, which is sunken into the floor.
When they bought the house, they also bought some of the original furniture
which was designed for the house. It's beautiful.
