1950'S STAINLESS STEEL GE WALL FRIDGE - DETROIT

I've seen these fridges in all the classic vintage colors but never in stainless steel.....way cool!

I wonder if that was custom-skinned? And didn't all of these have some type of ventilation grill along the top?

I'm curious about the lack of a ventilation grille too.  Maybe they did something different on the stainless models (presuming this unit wasn't re-skinned)?

 

1957 was the year for pink liners.

Wow, that is awesome! I also have never seen or heard of them in stainless. But even if custom (from GE or a dealer) or a later reskin, where does this unit 'breathe' without the front ventilation?
