A trip down memory lane! That oven (or one almost exactly like it) was in the house I grew up in. Stove was also Thermador, but it looked different.
The oven broke, and--the repair people said--no parts existed to fix it. (These days, I know where to turn for answers...but this was years before the web, let alone AW.org.) My mother said that oven was one of the best she'd used for heat control.

Wilcolator.....
The thermostat for a lot of these was a Wilcolator with push button preheat, this one looks like an old Robertshaw, they were much better than what is being made now,and the oven itself was better insulated, with much higher grade porcelean
