I'm the proud owner - still same kinks to be worked out.
Very special thanks to John Eichinger who was generous in sending me a new detergent boot and a service manual for the machine and thanks to Greg Nunn who recommended a parts place to get a timer motor.

Yay! You got it up and running!!

So this is the Duomatic you had been working on! What a gorgeous machine you have there! I have several old do it yourself books showing photos of this model proudly installed in laundry rooms built by the home handy person.
Happy washing and drying!!!

Beautiful!

It's amazing how large it is, it dwarfs the standard-size dryer in the background. There was an old house down the street years ago that had one of these in the kitchen, I'm not sure what became of it, it was either pink or really dirty. So nice to see one in such gleaming order.

Great Work!

what a cool machine...especially that it does both...what a time saver back and forth to the laundry room...that's definetely a keeper......

Lou...where from in NJ?...i'm near Millville...

Lou, what a beautiful machine!! You must be very proud. Could you give us a bit of history on where and how you got it. Thanks.

Wow Lou

That is a stunning piece! Where did you dig that baby up? The gold trim on the front panel is the best I've seen!

Dont ya just love going down to retrieve hot condenser dried laundry?? I wish they had installed rinse dispensers on these things.

Kudos to John E--what a great guy!

What did you have to do to it to get it up and running?

Stay posted I may be on to new door boots for these machines as well, we should know in a month or two. As you know they take a smaller boot than the 1956 line of machines.

nice washload...jeans, t-shirts, sweatshirt, socks, but no undies....what gives...or maybe that's in the whites load...hopefully next...lol

You've done an outstanding job on it. Lou, what an awesome looking machine. And the man ain't half bad lookin' either!!!
