1953? Westinghouse slant front set...

Found this set today looking through Kijiji Ontario...To big for me, but I bet someone may be interested...

its' a combo washer / dryer...that's rare, isn't it?

No, it's a set of a washer and a dryer.  It's definitely the 1953 model (I have the same set!!) BUT it looks like these machines have been cannibalized for parts over the years...  I don't see the 'singing signal' box and the missing timer dial on the Laundromat makes me think that maybe the timer is gone, too...  Oh and the door boot is shot (quelle surprise!).  

 

On the other hand, I know how to tear both of these machines apart.... And they are in Canada.... 

 

If I suddenly vanish from the board, tell the authorities to start looking for the body in the Tomifobia River valley... LOL
