Automatic Washer - The world's coolest Washing Machines, Dryers and Dishwashers

Help Support :

The ad calls it "mint green", so I wonder if it is actually Hotpoint's "Meadow Green". It doesn't look blue enough on this monitor to be "Seafoam Blue"; would be nice if the sellers would include model numbers so we could tell for sure.

Too many variables with cameras, lighting and monitor settings to be able to tell many colors apart.

I have some good friends

In Lenoir that have the same range, same color, On this one the flourescent light illuminates the pushbuttons, its a middle of the road range, I remember the story behind it, The man who owns it worked for Lowes hardware at the time, and was going to get married in a few months, Carl Buchan was makimg an inspection of the store"The original President of Lowes", My friend AG was the appliance dept manager at the time, as they walked down the rows of ranges, the odd color of this one stood out, AG said Mr Buchan said, if we dont have anything to match this color, get rid of it, AG spoke up and said, I will give 50.00 for it, SOLD said Mr Buchan, AG and his wife got married that year...and 60 years later they STILL have the same range!!!!

that griddle

is the same one we have on our pink 56 Hotpoint TOL 40". Evidently the option was available on any range that had the dedicated griddle outlet/plug, don't believe it was standard on this model at any rate.

Is the griddle aluminum? If so, perhaps there is enough to build one of the new aluminum bodied Ford trucks! It's so neat to see a griddle with the stove, so often they have been lost over the years...

OT, But....

Jeff,

I bet that new aluminum-bodied F-150 is going to be a hot seller in the Northeast and Midwest, due to corrosion resistance.

They don't call this the Rust Belt for nuthin'.
