My grandparents bought this dryer in 1954 and kept the original delivery slip, instruction manual, sales tag, and ad from the magazine. We have a detailed list of every repair my grandfather did. It was in working condition and then the belt was slipping and we replaced it but the new one only held for a few weeks. Im sure it can easily be fixed again. It is beautiful. Contact me if interested. I am in the Los Angeles area, specifically Torrance/Redondo Beach.

I've been in contact with the seller......

She is very nice and wants the dryer to go to someone who will appreciate it and care for it.

It looks to be on awesome condition and she wants a very reasonable $115 for it, but I am NOT going to persue it.   I am out of room (again).

So for anyone interested, please e-mail Katie directly.

Here are a couple more photos she sent to me.

Thanks everyone

Dryer is still up for sale. I am new to the website and didn't know how to rotate the photos I uploaded. I kept looking for my post in the Imperial board, instead of this shoppers one. whoops. I'd be interested to see what the matching washer looks like. My grandparents replaced the washer about 12 years ago and I don't remember what it was like.

Sold, picked up and safely stashed in the garage.

Thank you Katie for caring so much about your grandfather and this dryer to not let it get hauled off to the scrapyard!

It's in very good condition with almost no corrosion or rust, considering it was located only a couple miles from the beach for the last 59 years!

It was very nice meeting you, Andre and your mom.

No room, eh Kevin?

Correct... I have no more room!

Yes... yes... I did go pick up this dryer this morning and bring it home.... HOWEVER it will not be staying here!

I was asked by an out of state member, if I could pick it up and hold it until they can come retrieve it.

Yes I can and yes I did!

So it is here... but only temporarily.
