I didn't notice until you mentioned it that the oven was originally turquoise! It is shocking to see the old washer and dryer still there. Sadly, I'm sure they will all be ripped out soon after the sale is over.
The baby crap oven-suppose that paint could be removed-What DINGBAT would want to change out that Beautiful kitchen for some UGLY,morgue white or SS kitchen?
I like all the tiled bathrooms.
Especially the pink one!
Personally, I would do as little "updating" as possible.
Sadly, I don't think many people today feel that way.
A ranch style house just sold recently in my town.
It was built in the late 1960s, and only had one owner. It was very original inside.
Before the ink was dry on the sale, the contractors were there.
I don't think the kitchen and bathroom cabinets are original, but they seem well made and fit in well. I opened the link and the cooktop is an electric Jenn Aire and the dishwasher is a newer model, but I can't tell if it's stainless steel or they painted the panel gold.
The intercom system is pretty cool and the light fixtures too. Gotta love that Big Ugly Dish in the yard. lol
I agree! I love the pink bathroom. I'd also do as little remodeling as possible. It is difficult to fix vintage tile bathrooms when they have cracked or missing tile. Most people can't wait to rip all of that "old nasty junk" out.
