I have so many questions about this thing. I have found a great number of replacement parts and have done a lot of restoration work to start with but there are some parts that I cannot locate or just general information about this thing.

It's a 1956 General Electric Kitchen Center or "Wonder Kitchen" I have seen a few posts on here about it.

The Model Number on the oven itself is : IJ247G1N2. Power rating is 11.9 KW.

The Clock/Timer on here is 3AST4A4A

Oven Switch is WBX22X43

Thermostat is WB21X5208

8" Burner is WB30X354

6" Burners are somewhat confusing. One of them appears to be WB30X356, however, on of them is an Extra HI-Speed. One of them is an Automatic element.

3 Wattage on the 3 burners are W 1250 (Standard) , W1600 (Hi-Speed) and W 1250 (Automatic)

I really don't see anything special about the Hi-Speed other than the higher wattage but I think just replacing the standard with a WB30X356 seems to be what most websites recommend. The Auto Unit I can't replace, but it also is in surprisingly great condition.

For the life of me I cannot find the model numbers or replacement parts that match the Bake/Broil unit. They are Push-In stile instead of standard terminals with screw in or anything like that, even the shape of the bake unit, or the broil unit I cannot find a match. The Broil Unit also has a riveted on baffle shield. The bake element is in surprisingly good shape, so I may not replace it but the Broil element is fairly nasty, particularly the baffle.

A BIG question I have is how the heck does the timer/clock work? What do the knobs do, how do you set times, timers, etc?

Here are plenty of pics to go along with this rant! Will post updates once I get much of the work done!

I have a little info....

Hi Sean - although I don't have a lot of GE information, I was able to find out a few facts for you.
The model number for your oven is J247-1N2. This version does not turn the broil unit during Time Bake.
The p/n for the timer is WB19X18. I have posted a page from a 56 range that features a similar timer.
The bake unit has been replaced with a raisable unit, which seems to be fairly common, p/n WB44X126.
I had a couple of odd parts left over from a 61 Mark 27, including the broiler shield (19 3/4 x 13 1/2) and 2 oven racks (21 x 16 1/4). You would have to drill out to mount the broiler brackets, but although its discolored, it doesn't have any rust. LMK.
Good luck with your restoration!!
