For Sale on ebay. Looks to be in very nice condition I think this is just like Roberts, except this one is white instead of yellow.

Sorry if should be in the Imperial Section.... (as I duck and run at warp speed for cover!!!)

As far as I can tell, Rick-

this is the correct section. Yes, it is vintage, but no, it is not a washer, dryer, or dishwasher.

But, if Robert wants to punish you, I think you should let him :)

My father-in-law has that exact range in his home right now. It came with the house he bought last summer and that range was pampered like a new born baby its entire life. I've never seen such a clean appliance, especially one used daily. I will have to post some pics of his kitchen, it's all original, except for the refrigerator. He has grey cracked ice counter tops with stainless trim all the way around, a humongous island with metal base cabinets, all his cabinetry is metal. His sink has *I forget what it's called but someone mentioned one here not long ago* the hot water dispenser and the garbage disposal that requires you to turn the drain cover in order to activate the disposal. It's absolutely fabulous! *so jealous*
Thanks for posting that auction, I never get tired of looking at vintage GE ranges!

Instant Hot water dispenser (I'd be lost without mine). The disposer is termed a batch feed rather than a continuous feed since you load it up, lock it up and dispose of a batch. Does his disposer by any chance have a water flow switch on the cold water line under the sink so that the disposer can't be turned on until the cold water line is fully open? It would be maybe 3.5 inches square and not as deep with the brand of the disposal on the front of it, like GE.

We used to own this range. Most incredibly intelligently designed electric stove I've ever seen. The "smaller" oven on the left is actually much deeper than the "large" oven on the right, so the usable cubic footage is comparable. It can acommodate a large turkey. When my parents let an a-hole GE repairman talk them into buying a new 40" model to replace it ( GE label made by WCI, boo hissss) the small oven on the left was so narrow as to be USELESS. The buttons for the surface units each lit up with different colors according to the heat selected on the unit (like the buttons on Robert's Hotpoint washer). GE made good/decent 40" stoves up until the 70's. They should be ashamed of themselves.

I am not sure, never looked under there at the disposer, only to check out all the nifty racks mounted under there and on the doors! BUT, now I'm interested, and am headed over there tomorrow morning, so I will definitely look and post back once I know. He is a plumber and has gone over that house rather meticulously, so probably if I just ask him, he'll know!
