I was thinking as well that there was a garage or carport on the left side that has been made into a room. It's the only room with ceiling tiles.

After viewing it on a larger screen, I agree with Rex that the paneling is real wood planks in a some of the rooms. The ceiling in the family room is interesting.

I think removing the tree would spoil much of the beauty of the property.
