For $50 and if he has the room, this would be a good parts stove for Louie, although it's in nice shape and could be a daily driver for someone. 

 

Interesting that it has the same thermocouple issue as Louie's.  Hardly grounds for unloading it in favor of something new and inferior.

I texted the seller if he was willing to sell some parts, namely the spit rod and the meat probe. I got a rather terse " All of it, as is. That would be a negative.". I responded "Thanks for the fast reply. Good luck selling it. BTW, it's a 1963 model."
