PINK Fridge

My Nana built her dream home in 1959 and she had this PINK refrigerator. The bottom freezer was a real novelty. She also had a PINK Cadillac, my Grandpa called it her "pink party car." Thanks for bringing back great memories.

As we think about what past appliances an other things were like in 1958 compared to what is available now, it doesn't really dawn on us how far we have come. This is because everything has been incremental.

But, if someone could time travel from 1958 to now, they'd be totally shocked as what things have turned into!

" if someone could time travel from 1958 to now, they'd be totally shocked as (to) what things have turned into!"

Absolutley correct. They'd be shocked to find no thumpers, no burp-o-lators, no Philcos, no turquoise, no Cadet blue, no Wedgewood green, and most of all, NO PANK!

It's just sad . . .

not to mention cheap plastic parts everywhere and cheap, (but expensive to replace) unreliable electronics boards controlling every aspect of an appliance.

And WTH is a fan doing in an oven, anyway? LOL!!!

The Range

has a single oven. You can tell by there only being two knobs - one on either side of the clock/timer. One knob for temperature, one for function; both for the single oven.
