Does the Electric motor have a Clutch?
This machine look similar to the Philco/Bendix Gira Gira that I have got but in Italy this kind of motor are very rare and I am not very familiar how they work.
Does this machine use gear box?
Does the Electric motor have a Clutch?
The Italian SanGiorgio washer had a motor were the clutch was operated by the drain pump. The water was pumped in a pipe and the pressure built was going to push the clutch to get a slow spin start.
I can't open the link pictures, but from the first picture that I can see the drum filter hole it looks the same type in used in my Philco/Bendix.
I am interested because mine it need to be restored.
I hope to do it if the some of the spare parts are available.
Is been under the rain for long time and I am very concern about all the electrical parts.
The drum bearing are stuck and I know that cam be a big problem to remove then if they are joint to the drum axis.
Many thanks
Paolo
