Automatic Washer - The world's coolest Washing Machines, Dryers and Dishwashers

Help Support :

I'm trying to figure out what's going on here...this is a little different than my '57. It looks like there's a hole on the left side, like it may be missing a switch for the inner/full coil split, but it doesn't look like there are sensi-temp controls (which on mine is tied to the sensi-temp burner). Anyone have some insight there?

I don't believe this model had the Sensi-Temp burner.  However, in 1959 GE was still using the Automatic burner (Sensi-Temp debuted in either '60 or '61), so the temperature would have been controlled by a sliding bar in front of the switch.  This one appears to have a conventional, 6-button switch to control the left front burner.

Can't say about the partial/full coil option.

It does have the rotisserie feature.
