Need to get rid of this. Heard about this group long ago and I would rather someone who wants it to take it than for me to have to junk it.

It was in my home when I bought it. Sounds like there is a little issue that makes a thumping noise when it’s on and it doesn’t seem to heat up.

It’s free, just take it.

In Tacoma, WA.

WOWZERS!!

All those colorful buttons, it's beautiful! And it seems to have the original literature. I don't know much but I would guess this dryer is late 50's to early 60's?
I'm surprised no one has spoken up to take it?
There's gotta be someone who's been wanting a dryer like this to match a washer they have!?

I don't think I've seen very many dryers with the lint trap door on that side of the dryer?
:o|

I hope someone saves this dryer and at the same time finds the match to their washer.

Greetings, Christina!  Always a pleasure to see your enthusiastic posts!  :-)

Those aren't buttons.  It's a legend of the A-B-C settings on the timer dial.

It has a lint collection system that uses a disposable bag very similar to a vacuum cleaner.  Replace the bag when it's full.  No direct handling of the lint.  Are bags still available?  I suspect not after 58 years.

It's a very nice-looking machine for sure.  Console probably has a fluorescent light.

Not as efficient as a new dryer.  The design allows air to be pulled in around back of the drum, bypassing the heating path.

Hi DADoES/Glenn!

"Those aren't buttons.  It's a legend of the A-B-C settings on the timer dial."

LOL...
I told ya I didn't know much!
Hahaha...

But it is a nice looking vintage dryer
:o)
