I have a very old Rinse-Away disposer that is made like a TANK. This disposer is made by In-Sink-Erator and was made around 1960. It's a 1/3 H.P. Auto Reverse fixed nickel chromium white cast iron hammers/flywheel and grind ring. It looks just like a present day ISE commerical the big 2 H.P. on the inside just smaller.
This disposer is very heavy 36 pounds, I have never used it save for testing it on a banana and it worked perfect.I will be listing it on Ebay in a week if nobody here wants it.Don't let the Horse power put you off , that's all they sell now-days is power and the grind system is S&^#.
