Priced kinda high-ain't it?

MANY of these so called "vintage" appliances are over-priced. eBay is partly the reason and proximity to chemical plants, maybe, is another. If it were low mileage and like new, ok - the experienced collectors here - how much is it worth? $35? $40-50tops? thinkin'.

If it was priced at something like $300, I could say the asking price is a bit high but I can't complain about someone asking $100 for an old Mobile Maid if it's working and not rusted inside... Probably not the best deal around (could have been free!) but $100 is still below what it might cost just to get it if you're not local!
And the seller might accept lower offers too!
I recently bought a 1959 Frigidaire range that was advertised at $300 but the seller noticed there wasn't much interest for it and I got it for $70. And now that I have it, it's not worth much more (I did spend a few hours and more than the price I paid just to repair it...) but I wouldn't let it go at $300 now even if most of us would agree that it's not worth half that!
And the seller might accept lower offers too!
