Can anyone tell me anything about this stove and where I might be able to find parts for it? It needs some basic things, like a seal on the small oven, and the sensi temp burner isn't working.

Thanks in advance!

Beautiful range! Others are way more expert than me, especially on the mechanicals, but I would say that is an early GE P7 self cleaning range (I am thinking maybe 1964-65ish). With two ovens and self cleaning, and in a color, that was a very top of the line stove (and also unusual that it was in aqua, colors were shifting from the pastels to the earth tones like coppertone, avocado, and harvest gold by the mid sixties). Unfortunately, as you may see in other threads, the sensi-temp burners can be tricky and hard to find parts unless you happen to find someone that has old left over stock!

I know I need work done or replacement of the sensi temp, and one of the ovens cooks at a higher heat than selected and the other one cooks at a lower heat. This is all from the lady I bought her from. I'm used to old gas stoves so I'm not sure where to start here.

I forgot to say

Thank you!

I love it. It was in my girlfriends house when she bought it, I've been trying to get her to sell it to me for years!

As far as the oven heat is concerned, remove the temperature dial and turn it backwards. You'll see teeth and an arrow. Move it to increase or decrease the oven temperature to the precise degree using a Taylor oven thermometer to be sure of the change in temperatures bein correct. Awesome range full of nice features.

Thanks y'all!

My husband has been browsing around, on here and looking through the stove... He thinks we definitely need a new sensi temp. He read about the thermostat adjustment so hopefully that will take care of that!

My model number is J486B2GR 16 1
