You got that right, Hans. I know how badly I'm gonna regret letting this one go. If only I had a garage....this and 4 other ones are living in my dining/entry way. Something has to leave, sadly.

I think it would reside in MY kitchen..right beside the 58 Kenmore stove!!!Truthfully, I would rather have a manual defrost model, but Mother and Daddys best friends had one like this when I was growing up and I remember all the good stuff that came out of it!

That's a nice coldspot. It WILL outlast a couple of new fridges. These had a rotary vane compressor that just wouldn't quit.

Are you thinning the herd, Allen? It's quality and good looking. 1963 was a good year for me, minus my week in a hospital at the start of school(assembled a Heathkit in Sept. 1963), and other good memories. My other half likes it alot and said, "Oh that's really nice, where is it? " I said, "Oh right next door....Phoenix!".

Thanks all for the comments--and glad you all like it! I think I priced it MORE than fairly for what it is, so hopefully someone soon will be its new guardian (and do the two little fixes it needs to be more than an overflow/drinks fridge!).
