I was surprised to run across this beautiful Maytag set on marketplace yesterday and because it’s Maytag month I felt obligated to give them a new home. The washer was built in February and the dryer in September 1965. I was told they were in use until maybe a year ago. Unfortunately I don’t have a lot of extra time at the moment and the weather is rainy so I put them straight into storage. It was late when I got them home last night and I didn’t think about getting some good pictures until after putting them away. The photos from the listing will have to suffice for now. This set is in pretty good cosmetic condition for being 60 years old.

Washer model: CA702 Serial: 225173QD

Dryer model: CDG750 Serial: 765376QW

Aferim!

I always thought this was the best combination: an A702 for all the features plus the versatility the 902 doesn't have and the 90 dryer that is, I believe, the same as the 702 dryer only with pushbuttons instead of a dial.

Enjoy them in good health!

Great score!  I think that color is "Cordoba" or something like that, and a fairly rare one.

I've never been much of a fan of these TOL models due to the lack of user control over certain washer functions, but I can see how an all-buttons panel wouldn't be so bad for the dryer.
