We have a 1967 Kenmore "Soft-Heat" dryer, model 110-6718700. I am looking for the Timer Knob and the 5 spring-steel clips that hold the control panel (head) down to the top of the unit. They have rusted and broken over the years.
If anyone has any ideas, or knows where there might be the mother-load of NOS parts, I would appreciate it. This dryer has worked flawlessly, except when it hasn't, for almost 40 years now. I have replaced a heater element here and there, a few drive belts and even an idler pully. I think I had to replace the timer, once, as well.
Anyway, any info out there will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
