Hi! Nope, it’s not finished yet. I do still have it though! It is currently sitting in my garage waiting for when I have more time to devote to it. I got as far as removing some rust and damaged sections from the front door and re-painting the front covers.
Another member (William637) gave me a similar era GE Dishwasher that is in queue to replace our 2010 Kenmore (Bosch) when it eventually gives up. We’re not heavy users of the dishwasher, which is probably why the Kenmore has lasted this long.
As far as the float (flood) switch, the 1966 models (and many others through the 1970s) all used the same flood switch according to the manual I have (downloaded from here). The part number is WD21X349.
